Companion Data Services, LLC (CDS), a privately held company, offers secure systems development and managed hosting services specializing in the health care industry. CDS is headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina with offices in Dallas, Texas and Baltimore, Maryland.

We currently provide information technology (IT) services for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), TRICARE, the Federal Employee Health Benefits Program, Medicare Advantage health plans, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) and other private health entities.  
 
CDS delivers secure hosting and IT support services in our Columbia complex. This complex offers specialized physical, data and network security. It also features disaster recovery capabilities to meet today’s health care data protection requirements such as HIPAA, FISMA and DIARMF. Our hosting services include traditional hosting and cloud services for all aspects of technology from mainframe to distributed systems. CDS is platform agnostic and can support your unique requirements and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 certified.
