Count Team Member

Responsibilities:

• Collects slot bill validator (BV) drop in an efficient, timely manner IAW company and state regulations.
• Counts and records Table Game drop on Master Gaming Report. Transfers paperwork to Accounting.
• Counts and records funds and tickets from BV Drop and inputs/records on daily Soft Count Report.
• Transfers TG drop funds and Slot BV drop funds to casino cage in an efficient and timely manner.
• Maintains soft count area in a neat, organized and professional manner.
• Displays courteous and professional image to associated departments and guests.
• Upholds the Mission Statement.
• Represents Hard Rock Biloxi in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors.
• Lives by the Hard Rock Values!
• Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.

Competencies:

• Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Must possess basic computer skills. Must have knowledge of internet software; spreadsheet software and Word Processing Software.
• Must know and comply with requirements of State and Company internal controls and regulations.
• Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people. Interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with operating departments.
• Must be very detailed oriented.
• Must project a professional and positive image.
• Must have a high level of energy
• Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
• Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.
