The M.Ed. in communication sciences and disorders (CSD) program consists of both academic preparation and clinical training. Both components are focused on developing the knowledge and skills needed for a career as a practicing speech-languagepathologist (SLP). Clinical Supervisors work within The Sheila C. Johnson Center for Clinical Services, a multidisciplinary clinic that provides personalized assessment and intervention services. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality science-based clinical services to the people of Charlottesville, the UVA community, Albemarle County, the Commonwealth of Virginia and beyond. This individual will work as part of the Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Supervisor team in the trans-disciplinarySheila C. Johnson Centerfor Clinical Services (SJC) to provide clinical care and clinical training, supervision and education to graduate student clinicians in the Master's Program in Communication Sciences and Disorders, as the clinician of record for direct services to community clients. Opportunities for development of disorder- specific therapy programs and specializations are available. Responsibilities
