Patient Appointment Scheduler / Call Center Representative *Location:* Remote (WFH)
*Experience Level:* Entry Level Job Description This position supports a highvolume healthcare call center environment, responsible for *patient appointment scheduling and handling a large volume of inbound calls*. The role serves as the primary point of contact for patients calling the center and ensures accurate, timely scheduling and patient support. The ideal candidate has *call center experience*, is comfortable working remotely, and provides excellent customer service in a fastpaced healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities * Answer all incoming calls from internal staff, departments, and external patients * Support clinics including *Lynwood, USC, and Eisner* * Provide accurate information regarding clinic services and appointment availability * Schedule appointments for all clinical and support services * Cover multiple departmental call and appointment desks as needed * Confirm upcoming appointments by phone or mailed notifications * Take detailed messages and route them to appropriate staff or departments * Perform accurate *data entry* of patient demographics and appointment details * Verify *medical HMO insurance* eligibility * Print and distribute appointment schedules to appropriate departments and staff Required Qualifications * *Call center experience (required)* * *Workfromhome (WFH) experience (required)* * *Bilingual in Spanish (required)* * Strong customer service and communication skills * Comfortable handling high call volumes * Attention to detail and ability to multitask * Basic computer and data entry skills Core Skills * Customer Service * Call Center Operations * Appointment Scheduling * Patient Communication * Insurance Verification (Medical HMO) * Data Entry *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
