Healthcare Enrollment Specialist Location: Onsite training in San Diego, CA; remote opportunity after training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST Type: Fulltime About the Role We're hiring Healthcare Enrollment Specialists to support Medicare open enrollment operations. In this role, you'll receive paid training on Medicare and play a key part in helping patients complete and process their enrollment applications accurately and efficiently. This opportunity is ideal if you enjoy detailoriented work, communicating with patients over the phone, and working in a structured, supportive environment. Candidates early in their careers or transitioning into healthcare operations are encouraged to apply. What You'll Be Doing * Receive comprehensive, paid training on Medicare enrollment rules and systems * Review, verify, and process patient enrollment applications * Enter completed applications into the Medicare system or return them to patients for required updates * Make outbound calls to patients to gather or clarify enrollment information (no sales or cold calling) * Provide a high level of customer service while handling sensitive information * Process: * 10-15 applications per day during rampup * An average of ~30 applications per day once fully trained What We're Looking For * 2+ years of data entry or administrative experience * Customer service and phone experience * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes * Willingness to learn Medicare guidelines (training provided) Backgrounds in healthcare, finance, banking, or administrative roles are a plus Recent graduates and earlycareer candidates are welcome if detailoriented and strong testers Assessment Requirement Candidates must pass an SHL assessment, focused on: * Data entry accuracy * Learning potential * Thoroughness and attention to detail (Overall performance matters more than perfection.) Training, Work Environment & Remote Eligibility * Training period: First 8 weeks * 100% onsite in San Diego, CA * Full attendance required (no time off during training) * Peak enrollment period: November & December * No time off permitted during these months * After training: * Employees who meet productivity and quality goals are eligible for remote work * Historically, ~90% of the team qualifies * Those needing additional support may remain onsite for continued coaching Outside of training and peak enrollment, time off flexibility is available. Major holidays are observed. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
