Customer Care Representative - Mortgage Servicing *Location:* Denver Tech Center
*Schedule:* Full-Time | Monday-Friday About the Role We are seeking a *Customer Care Representative* to join our growing Mortgage Servicing team in Denver. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for residential homeowners, handling inbound calls related to mortgage servicing while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your goal is to resolve customer needs effectively on the first call, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and care in every interaction. This is a great opportunity for someone who is customer-focused, comfortable discussing payments, and passionate about helping others navigate important financial decisions. Key Responsibilities * Handle high-volume *inbound calls* from residential homeowners regarding mortgage-related questions * Achieve *first-call resolution* by accurately identifying and resolving customer needs * Assist customers with: * Monthly mortgage payments * Address updates and account maintenance * Password resets and online account access * Escrow inquiries (e.g., payment increases and explanations) * Mortgage-specific topics such as PMI removal * Make *outbound calls* to customers who are due for payment and have not yet paid for the current month * Maintain professionalism and empathy while confidently discussing payment-related topics * Navigate multiple systems simultaneously using dual monitors and Microsoft Office tools Required Qualifications *Must Have:* * High School Diploma or GED * 1+ year of *contact center experience* * *Demonstrated tenure and stability* in prior roles (ideally 2+ years per position) * Strong computer proficiency, including multitasking across screens and systems * Comfort asking customers for payment without hesitation * Strong customer service mindset that prioritizes care and solutions over hard collections * A genuine passion for helping and supporting customers Preferred Qualifications *Nice to Have:* * Previous mortgage servicing or mortgage contact center experience * Bilingual in Spanish and English Employee Value Proposition * *Monthly gift card drawing* based on tenure: $50 for every year of service (some awards exceed $700) * Company culture that truly *puts customers first-and employees first internally* * *Strong opportunities for growth within the Denver office, including:* * *Customer Care* * Loss Mitigation * Supervisor and leadership roles * Office perks including snacks and beverages * *Free on-site parking* at the Denver Tech Center location Work Environment & Schedule * *100% on-site* * Standard hours: *Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM* * *One Saturday per month:* 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM * Employees who work Saturday receive a *half day off the following week* * During the last week of the month (or the week prior), employees must work: * *Tuesday & Thursday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM* * Once fully trained and working independently: * Saturday shifts and the following half-day will be worked *remotely* * *3-month Contract-to-Hire* (Direct hire possible for exceptional candidates) * Business casual dress code (jeans, slacks, polos, etc.) * Positions are open due to newly onboarded loans and increased servicing demand Compensation * *$20/hour* - Customer service experience with no contact center background * *$21-$22/hour* - 1-5 years of contact center experience * *$23/hour* - Mortgage contact center experience *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Englewood, CO. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
