What you'll do: Responsible for developing new talent pools through the use of external and networking resources, leveraging the ATS and ensuring compliance with IGB related to licensing. By focusing on your goals and responsibilities, while striving for improvement, you make the difference. A day in your life:
- Guides hiring managers on job descriptions, interview techniques, and selection best practices.
- Coordinates interviews, prepares materials, and ensures consistent selection processes.
- Manages job postings, candidate workflows, and requisition data in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Ensures accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains clear communication and timely follow-up to create a positive candidate journey.
- Promotes Bally's and the Chicago region as premier employers in gaming and hospitality.
- Uses creative sourcing methods (networking, passive recruiting, referrals, online channels) to build a qualified, diverse candidate pipeline.
- Represents the organization at internal and external recruiting events.
- Supports social media job postings and recruitment marketing efforts.
- Supports diversity initiatives through targeted sourcing, partnerships, and community outreach.
- Builds and maintains relationships with colleges, universities, agencies, and community organizations; tracks related outcomes.
- Coordinates property tours and events to attract potential talent.
- Prepares recruiting reports and hiring metrics to identify trends and support process improvements.
- Recommends workflow and communication enhancements for greater efficiency.
- Manages IGB Licensing process for new hires including but not limited to application guidance, submission, and facilitation of relationships between regulator and company
- Oversees required certifications (MVR/Serv-Safe), recommends adjustments as needed, and ensures timely data entry
- Supports pre-hire compliance and onboarding processes
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll bring to the team:
- 3+ years of professional Human Resources experience (required); At least 1-2 years of talent acquisition/recruitment experience (preferred)
- Valid Notary Public (Must be acquired within initial 90 days of employment)
- Familiarity with HR systems (UKG), compliance processes, or licensing systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with IGB (Illinois Gaming Board) Processes
- Excellent ability to work independently and escalate matters when needed.
- Excellent relationship building ability and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with hiring managers and business partners.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and planning skills.
- Experience with candidate sourcing, interviewing, and community outreach preferred

Work Environment:
- Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift to access equipment and support operational needs across the property.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment (computers, servers, networking hardware, etc.) weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to visually inspect systems, cabling, and equipment in both office and casino floor environments.
- Requires the ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and via digital platforms.
- Must be able to work in a 24/7 casino environment, including exposure to gaming floor conditions such as noise, lights, and frequent walking between departments.
- Occasional travel may be required for training, vendor meetings, or corporate initiatives.

Education
Bachelors of Human Resource Administration (preferred)
Experience
