Job Overview We are seeking a Level 1 Technician (Helper) to support data center installation projects. This role is ideal for candidates with little to no telecommunications experience who have previously worked in physically demanding environments and are eager to learn a skilled trade. The hiring team is primarily looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable attendance. This is a handson role supporting experienced technicians in a fastpaced data center environment with longterm growth potential. Top Skills & Core Requirements * Experience working in a physically demanding job (construction, trades, military, warehouse, or similar) * Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Proven reliability and good attendance history Key Responsibilities * Pull and route cabling throughout the data center * Assemble, stack, and drill equipment racks * Scan, label, and port equipment * Support general installation and project tasks as directed by lead technicians Additional Required Attributes * Handson experience using tools in a physical work environment * Dependable and punctual with a strong attendance record * Willingness to learn and take direction * Electrical, construction, or military experience is highly valued Secondary Skills (Nice to Have) * Installation experience * Lowvoltage exposure * Cable pulling experience Ideal Candidate Profile * Hardworking, honest, and reliable * Motivated to grow with an organization * Interested in longterm opportunities and leadership development * Comfortable working in a structured, safetyfocused environment Employee Value Proposition (EVP) This role offers an opportunity to enter the data center and lowvoltage industry with handson training and longterm growth potential.
