Associate Program Director - GME Residency

The Associate Program Director (APD) of the Family Medicine Residency Program will assist and support the Program Director in all areas needed to manage the residency program, and maintain compliance with the ACGME standards The APD is directly responsible to the internal medicine program director. The APD is expected to spend 50% of their time in administrative duties and 50% of their time in a clinical role.

Educational Requirements

M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) Required or D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) Required

Experience

2 years of successful academic experience in graduate medical education

Additional:

• Experience providing health care in international// resource-poor settings// Demonstrated teaching and leadership experience with strong leadership potential.

State of Florida Licensure Requirements
Required:

• Medical Doctor

Additional Requirements:

• Currently licensed or eligible in the State of Florida as a Physician

Certifications/Registration Requirements

• Board Certification by the American Board of Family Medicine

• Additional Requirements:

  • Requisite specialty expertise. Prefer educational and administrative experience in an academic medical teaching program.
