Service Desk Technician Onsite,* West Des Moines, IA* Technical Skill * Decommission * Cable Management * PC Refresh * Imaging/Deployment * IT Asset Management * Workstation Setup * Customer Service Description We are hiring Desktop Support Technicians to assist with a 3 Stage office relocation effort. * 1st Phase * 1,000+ work stations need to be decommissioned and set up * Cable management and testing of devices 2nd Phase * Providing support with end of life builds. Going from 150 to 400 by end of the year. * Refreshes, Imaging and Rolling out of machines * They only have 1 current guy for asset management so will need to assist in inventory help as well. * 3rd Phase * Hardware wiping, decommissioning the site, tech garage sale with e-cyclers (purchasing of equipment in bulk) * Takes about 3-6 months to get comfortable with the systems they use. 2 total offices that you will be supporting. * Potential with this move to work a couple of weekends as OT. Work Environment * IT Support * Tier 2 * Office * Decommission * Refresh * Small Team * Travel between 3 Des Moines offices Start Date and Interviews * Start Date: December 1, 2025 * Interviews: November 10-17 Additional Skills & Qualifications * Setting up and tearing down desktops. * Standard cable management. * Printer testing. * AV conf room assistance and testing. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of West Des Moines, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
