Patient Care Advocate - Remote (Must Reside Near Frisco, TX) Contract Role | $18/hr | Opportunity for Extension & Conversion

What You'll Do: * Make outbound calls to patients and physician offices regarding medication orders and pharmacy services (8-10 calls/hour). * Update insurance and pharmaceutical information in patient records. * Create and manage patient activity logs for follow-ups, inquiries, and service coordination. * Collaborate with disease-focused teams to deliver exceptional customer service. * Connect patients with pharmacists for clinical support. * Handle special tasks such as shipment notifications and adverse drug event reports. * Escalate calls to appropriate teams when needed. * Support special projects and cross-functional teams as required. What We're Looking For: Must-Haves: * 1+ year of customer service experience in healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, or call center settings. * High-speed internet (100 Mbps+ download speed) and ability to hardwire connection (ethernet cable provided). * Comfortable wearing a headset throughout the day. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn proprietary systems. * High school diploma or equivalent. Nice-to-Haves: * Experience in healthcare or pharmacy settings. * Familiarity with order/data entry and outbound calling. Soft Skills: * Active listening, multitasking, adaptability, openness to feedback, and ability to shift gears quickly. Work Environment & Schedule: * *Remote with location restrictions - Must live within 40 minutes of Frisco, TX due to equipment pick up required.* * Training: 1 week of training followed by 8 weeks of 8am-5pm schedule. * *Work Hours: Shifts vary between Monday-Sunday, 6am-10pm.* * Attendance Policy: No time off during contract; only 2 absences allowed.
