IT Hardware Technician Location: Honolulu, HI 96813 Contract Length: 3 months Pay: $20-$22/hr Description: We're looking for a proactive IT Hardware Technician to support a Windows 11 upgrade project. This role involves preparing, upgrading, and configuring hardware to ensure a smooth transition. You'll work closely with the IT team to unbox, assess, and ready devices for deployment. Responsibilities: * Unbox, inventory, and assess hardware for Windows 11 compatibility * Perform upgrades, installations, and configurations * Run diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware issues * Assist with imaging and Windows 11 deployment * Document hardware setups and maintain accurate records * Support end-users with hardware-related questions * Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards * Lift and transport equipment (up to 50 lbs) Top Skills: * Hardware setup and troubleshooting * Imaging and Windows 11 deployment * Help desk and technical support * Strong communication and teamwork Qualifications: * Familiarity with Windows 10 and 11 * Solid understanding of computer hardware and repair * Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask * Customer service mindset and strong work ethic Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
