*Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst* Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Reporting Analyst to join our finance team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, supporting internal and external reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS. * Analyze financial data and trends to support business decision-making. * Assist with the preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, etc.) and other regulatory reports. * Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operational teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting. * Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis. * Maintain and improve financial reporting processes and systems. * Monitor compliance with internal controls and corporate policies. * Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. Essential Skills * Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of public accounting and/or financial reporting experience. * Knowledge of securities and exchange policy, CPA, and public accounting. * Understanding of SEC regulations, state insurance regulations, and rating agency requirements. * Strong project management principles and practices with the ability to perform multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality. * Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication, and organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Public accounting experience, public company, or insurance company experience related to financial reporting and financial analysis. * Technical accounting research. * Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance accounting, Statutory and GAAP accounting principles. * ERP system experience (Workday, Oracle, SAP, etc.). Work Environment Hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, allowing you to choose your remote days. Standard work hours are 8 am-5 pm, with occasional extended hours during reporting cycles. The role requires 40 to 45 hours per week, offering flexibility to manage your schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $140000.00/yr. Company matches 6%, 5% profit share, 8 weeks of parental leave, 20 days PTO Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Milwaukee,WI.
