Essential Duties

* Leads the Enterprise Applications team in the delivery and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (FSC) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), the foundational ERP applications. Acts as service and product manager for these applications and their connected systems, also referred to as the ERP Ecosystem.

* Manages the team's work across projects, ongoing enhancements, and operations. Plans and balances capacity, sets priorities with stakeholders, removes obstacles, and ensures quality, predictable delivery.

* Oversees operations, including break/fix and escalated issue resolution, routine maintenance, patching and release management (platform updates, quality updates, hotfixes), environment management and refreshes, backups, monitoring, security role maintenance, and license management and optimization. Manages vendor and Microsoft support cases through resolution.

* Leverages Azure DevOps to manage the team's work, including backlogs, sprints, work item tracking, source control, and build and release pipelines. Maintains work item discipline and publishes metrics on throughput, backlog health, and service levels to drive continuous improvement.

* Represents the team on projects to define, design, and execute work. Participates in scoping, requirements gathering, estimating, and planning; assigns and guides team members; monitors progress and budget; resolves problems; and communicates status and risks. Serves as the voice of the IT team in business meetings to provide knowledge and guidance on application functionality.

* Partners with IT Product Owners to build and maintain product roadmaps, refine and prioritize backlogs, and translate business needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria. Balances new capability, enhancement, and operational demands, and clearly communicates trade-offs.

* Provides strong architectural design oversight for the ERP Ecosystem. Reviews and approves solution designs, extensions, and integrations (e.g., Data Management Framework, OData, Dataverse, dual-write, Azure integration services) for scalability, security, performance, supportability, and upgrade readiness. Establishes and enforces development standards and code review practices, favors standard functionality over customization, and manages technical debt.

* Develops the team's technical and professional skills. Coaches, manages, and mentors Applications Partners; sets goals and conducts performance reviews; identifies training and certification opportunities; promotes cross-training and knowledge sharing; builds consulting, communication, and ownership skills; and recommends Partner recognition for outstanding performance. Leads recruiting and onboarding for the team.

* Acts as a liaison between business customers and IT to ensure exceptional customer service. Leads internal customers and IT staff in new product reviews, tests, and pilots; requirements gathering; process documentation; and engagement with TDPartners and external suppliers.

* Is considered the functional and technical expert, within an assigned business area, in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of business processes and applications. Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures, protects operations by keeping information confidential, and maintains professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and benchmarking of state-of-the-art practices.

* Manages budget for Applications' expenses, including annual budgeting, assigning coding for expenses, prepaid costs, capitalized costs, licensing, and partner spend. Participates with management in annual budgeting and strategy planning.

* Engages and manages third parties, such as implementation partners and software vendors, as needed to accomplish specific tasks or to work on project teams.

* Must be able to work with software such as RDP, Active Directory/Entra ID, Office 365, Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Power Platform Admin Center, and similar agile project management and administration tools.
