As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a retail distribution center.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including directing personnel and/or visitors according to established site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
