As a Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and TSA-issued TWIC. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying emergency services and/or management when directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
