JOB SUMMARY: The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for management of the accounting staff while overseeing a full range of corporate accounting activities, incorporated into the monthly close cycle, including monthly journal entries, assistance with financial statement preparation and account analysis.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Ensure transactions are recorded in conformity with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls.
  2. Manage and supervise record to report activities including accruals, software accounting, and related activities.
  3. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting analysis for complex and/or judgmental accounting areas.
  4. Coordinate with external auditors as part of routine activities
  5. Partner with Accounting Systems, technology, and project teams to define future state consolidations processes
  6. Partner with the Technical Accounting Group to ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with U.S. GAAP
  7. Support the revenue accounting team where applicable in preparing account reconciliations, etc.
  8. Identify, recommend, and implement process and system improvement initiatives.
  9. Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports and analysis
  10. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  11. Ensure compliance with Internal Controls and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Controls and regulations and requirements.
  12. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  13. Demonstrate commitment to the Company's core values.

JOB SCOPE:

This job works independently with minimal supervision to complete the job responsibilities. Work is often varied and complex and involves a great deal of research. More complex issues are referred to higher levels. The incumbent follows established procedures and uses knowledge of the Company's general business principles, industry dynamics, market trends, and specific operational details when performing all aspects of the job.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years accounting experience including 2 years in a leadership role
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Experience in a corporate accounting record to report functions with international operations
  • Managerial experience
  • SAP system experience (S4 Hana experience preferred)
  • Organization, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Innovative and able to thrive in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong investigation and follow-up skills
  • Ability to build strong and trusting relationships across the team.
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources
  • Ability to direct the work of others

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $110k-$120k. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
