Responsibilities The sponsor is looking for a highly skilled Systems Engineer with a proficiency in various technologies supporting communications, radio frequencies, optical systems, signatures, and TEMPEST evaluations and countermeasures. The ideal candidate will be creative, self-driven, curious, engineering and research-oriented and comfortable defining a path through ambiguity towards high-level goals. The successful candidate should be comfortable applying engineering expertise to risk assessments and mitigations. The Systems Engineer will support the customer's overall counterintelligence threat analysis of technical devices and communication systems. This position consists of the following responsibilities, but is not limited to:
Provide initial security risk analysis both quantitative and qualitative approaches, develop analystic judgements such as relevance or vulnerabilities, and prepare briefings/reports document the methodology used and the results obtained.

Target Salary Range $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
