Summer Analyst Intern PROGRAM INFORMATION Program Start Date:June 7th, 2027 Duration: 8 10 Weeks Office Locations: Boston, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, or Washington D.C. At Spencer Stuart, Analyst Interns gain firsthand exposure to the work behind identifying, assessing, and developing leaders for some of the world's most influential organizations. As an Analyst Intern, you will join a fast-paced, intellectually engaging environment where you will work alongside leadership advisors and industry experts supporting organizations as they navigate critical leadership decisions. Throughout the summer, interns gain exposure to a broad range of leadership advisory services, including executive search, leadership assessment, succession planning, organizational effectiveness, board work, and corporate governance, while developing valuable research, analytical, and communication skills. The Summer Analyst Internship Program is designed to provide a meaningful introduction to both the leadership advisory profession and life at Spencer Stuart. Through hands-on project work, training sessions, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, interns deepen their understanding of executive recruitment and leadership consulting while building foundational skills that will benefit them throughout their future careers. Our goal is for each intern to leave the program with a stronger understanding of the industry, enhanced professional skills, and a clearer perspective on the impact leadership advisors have on organizations around the world. High-performing Analyst Interns may be considered for a full-time Analyst opportunity upon graduation. In fact, many of our current Analysts began their careers as Summer Analyst Interns, making the program an ideal pathway into the Firm and an opportunity to build lasting relationships with colleagues across practices, industries, and offices. Every Analyst Intern completes both an individual project and a collaborative team project. These projects are designed to deliver meaningful value to the Firm while providing Analyst Interns with ownership and exposure to topics aligned with their interests. Project work may include conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, creating thought leadership content, supporting business development efforts, or developing resources that enhance practice knowledge and collaboration. At the conclusion of the internship, interns present their work and key learnings to office leadership and colleagues, showcasing the contributions they have made throughout the summer. A DEDICATED SUPPORT NETWORKWe believe meaningful development requires thoughtful support. Every Analyst Intern is paired with an Advisor, Mentor, and Buddy who provide guidance, coaching, and serve as a trusted resource throughout the summer program. This dedicated support network helps facilitate a seamless onboarding experience while providing ongoing professional and personal support throughout the program. Analyst Interns receive both formal and informal feedback, including structured mid-program and end-of-program evaluations, as well as regular coaching from their project teams and program leadership.
