What is the role about? At Endress+Hauser, we believe the best learning happens through real-world experience. Since 2005, our internship program has provided students with meaningful opportunities to contribute to business initiatives while developing professional and technical skills. As a Business Intern, you'll spend 12 weeks working on a project that addresses a real business need. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals, gain exposure to our products, customers, and operations, and build a network across the organization. Every internship experience is unique because projects are selected based on business priorities at the time of hire. What tasks will you perform?
- Work full-time on a meaningful business project with measurable impact.
- Receive guidance, coaching, and feedback from experienced mentors.
- Develop professional, analytical, and leadership skills through structured development opportunities.
- Build relationships with peers, leaders, and subject matter experts across the organization.
- Present your work and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of your internship.
- Gain exposure to a global leader in industrial process automation and measurement technology.
- Internship projects are assigned based on business needs, project availability, and student interests.
Business Interns may have projects within the following areas:
- Customer Excellence/Sales Enablement: Supports customers, sales teams, and partners by helping them find the right information, tools, and resources to improve the customer and sales experience.
- Service: Supports customers after they purchase products by helping improve service, communication, and support processes.
- Credit/Accounts Receivable: Supports customer accounts, payments, and financial information to help keep the money side of the business organized and running smoothly.
- Legal: Supports contracts, legal research, compliance, and business processes to help the company manage documents, rules, and business risk.
- Supply Chain: Plans, buys, moves, and delivers products and materials while supporting inventory, purchasing, shipping, and process improvements.
- Marketing Communications: Helps share Endress+Hauser's products, services, and brand with customers and employees through content, events, digital marketing, and communications.
- Human Resources: Supports employees and teams by helping with recruiting, training, employee programs, communication, and HR processes.
Previous business intern projects:
- SAP Price Group Automation: Automated the upload of price group creation and modification information in SAP, ensuring a sustainable, repetitive, and step-by-step process that requires no specialized expertise and maintains consistency over time.
- Automated Product Crossover Database: Leveraged conditional formatting and macros in Excel to develop an automated database, significantly expediting product crossovers between Endress+Hauser and leading competitor order codes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
What do we expect from you? You will be (required):
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business or related field
