What is the role about?

At Endress+Hauser, we believe the best learning happens through real-world experience. Since 2005, our internship program has provided students with meaningful opportunities to contribute to business initiatives while developing technical and professional skills.

As a Legal Intern, you'll spend 12 weeks supporting projects and daily work within our Legal Department. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of legal matters that help support our business, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, commercial contracts, employment law, data privacy, intellectual property, litigation management, insurance programs, immigration, and other corporate legal matters. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals, strengthen your research and communication skills, and build a network across the organization. Every internship experience is unique because projects are selected based on business priorities at the time of hire.

What tasks will you perform?

• Work full-time on meaningful legal projects that support real business needs.
• Review and assist with customer contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), vendor agreements, and other commercial documents.
• Research employment, commercial, privacy, corporate, regulatory, and compliance-related legal issues that impact company operations.
• Prepare legal memoranda, summaries, and other documents to support business decisions.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments that may affect our business and help communicate key updates.
• Assist with compliance initiatives, policy updates, corporate governance records, and other legal department projects.
• Receive guidance, coaching, and feedback from experienced legal professionals.
• Develop professional, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience.
• Build relationships with peers, leaders, and subject matter experts across the organization.
• Gain exposure to how an in-house Legal Department supports a global leader in industrial process automation and measurement technology.

What do we expect from you?

You will be (required):

• Pursuing a Juris Doctor degree
