What is the role about?

At Endress+Hauser, we believe the best learning happens through real-world experience. Since 2005, our internship program has provided students with meaningful opportunities to contribute to business initiatives while developing technical and professional skills.

Our Gas Measurement business supports customers who need accurate, reliable ways to measure and monitor gas flow in industrial applications. As a Gas Measurement Engineering Intern, you'll spend 12 weeks working on a project that supports our gas measurement business. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers and technical teams, gain exposure to measurement technology and customer-focused solutions, and build practical experience using engineering tools and processes. Projects are selected based on business needs, project availability, and student interests.

What tasks will you perform?

  • Work full-time on a meaningful business project with measurable impact.
  • Receive guidance, coaching, and feedback from experienced mentors.
  • Develop technical, professional, and leadership skills through structured development opportunities.
  • Build relationships with peers, leaders, and subject matter experts across the organization.
  • Present your work and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of your internship.
  • Gain exposure to a global leader in industrial process automation and measurement technology.
  • Internship projects will be focused within Gas Measurement and may support areas such as electrical design, instrumentation, communications, mechanical design, CAD drafting, testing, documentation, process improvement, or technical problem-solving.

What do we expect from you?

You will be (required):

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

You may have (preferred):

  • AutoCAD experience
  • Siemens NX CAD experience, especially for mechanical engineering projects
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • A strong enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge and embracing fresh challenges
  • Exhibit a proactive attitude and a readiness to take ownership for your projects
