This is an opportunity for a consultative leader who can serve as a trusted HR technology advisor, drive system optimization, lead complex initiatives, and identify innovative ways to improve HR processes and the employee experience.
The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule.
What You'll Do
- Support the strategy, design, governance, and management of the organization's Human Resources Information Systems function.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide consultation, guidance, and training to management and Human Resources.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners across all levels of the organization.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the HRIS team while effectively balancing workloads, resources, priorities, and deadlines.
- Lead HRIS initiatives from conception through implementation, including business case development, project management, requirements gathering, functional specifications, system testing, user acceptance testing, documentation, and training.
- Develop short- and long-term HRIS technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
- Partner with HR, business process owners, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, quality, timeliness, and accuracy of HRIS processes and systems.
- Oversee HR system governance, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage quarterly system release processes, including impact analysis, regression testing, and deployment of new functionality.
- Evaluate new system capabilities and recommend enhancements that maximize value, scalability, and user experience.
- Ensure HR systems and data comply with applicable regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Maintain established quality standards across HRIS initiatives and deliverables.
- Identify project-related risks and ensure appropriate processes are in place to protect the organization.
- Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and collaboration across the HRIS team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or 14 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise with HR platforms and HR technology capabilities.
- Experience with Oracle modules.
- Advanced experience with HRIS configuration, reporting, analytics, and integrated HR technology platforms.
- Strong project management experience, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and end-user training.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop an HRIS team.
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
