Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. A lab in the Stem Cell and Gene Therapy Program at Fred Hutch that studies hematopoietic stem cell biology and develops novel gene therapy and gene editing strategies is recruiting a Post Doctoral Research Fellow. Responsibilities The candidate will study and develop novel methods to genetically modify hematopoietic stem cells for genetic diseases like sickle cell disease, Fanconi anemia and others. The candidate will work closely with the PI and other senior members of the research team, as well as with external collaborators. They will be expected to work closely with diverse study personnel, and publish and present their work in both internal and external events. MD or PhD in a biology, genetics, immunology or related scientific field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The annual base salary range for this position is from $80,172 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
