What You'll Do
  • Develop, document, improve, and train Manufacturing Instructions for Cell Assembly processes while supporting the design, validation, and refinement of manufacturing processes to improve throughput and reduce waste (requires intimate hands-on process knowledge)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, quality, and engineering) to sustain and improve key process metrics
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment, tooling, process, and workflow issues to minimize downtime; operate and maintain complex production-representative equipment (e.g., laser welders and precision assembly tools)
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous improvement
  • Lead or support Kaizen events, root cause analyses, and Lean initiatives to eliminate bottlenecks and improve line efficiency
  • Design, manage, deploy, and repair process tooling and parts
  • Develop, build, and execute comprehensive test setups for product validation, performance benchmarking, and reliability testing; calibrate, troubleshoot, and optimize lab instruments for accuracy and repeatability

What You'll Bring
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting automated/semi-automated manufacturing equipment, with the ability to analyze problems/error conditions, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including precision assembly, fabrication, and proficient use of hand and power tools
  • Self-directed, organized communicator with strong documentation habits and attention to procedural accuracy
  • Experience working safely with hazardous materials (formal safety training or certification is a plus)
  • Experience with data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Minitab, Tableau, and SPC, plus knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Proficiency in 3D design software tools such as SolidWorks

    Expected Compensation
    $33.60 - $56.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
