Responsibilities NV5 is seeking a highly motivated Senior Archaeologist to join our growing Cultural Resources team in Florida. This full-time position will support a diverse portfolio of transportation, energy, land development, and municipal projects throughout the Southeast and beyond. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership on archaeological investigations, oversee project execution, contribute to business development initiatives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cultural resource services. The Senior Archaeologist will prepare and review a variety of technical documents, including Management Summaries, Phase I, II, and III Archaeological Resource Identification and Evaluation Reports, Assessments of Effects, historic contexts, data recovery plans, and other cultural resource compliance documentation. This individual will conduct archaeological research, field investigations, and data recovery efforts to identify, evaluate, and manage archaeological resources while ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities
Lead and conduct Section 106 compliance studies and due diligence assessments for transportation, infrastructure, energy, land development, and municipal projects, including archaeological surveys, resource identification and evaluation, and effects assessments. Qualifications
