The Insider Threat Program Analyst performs operational collection activities, conducts research-driven studies, and delivers analytical support to inform program improvements aligned with contractual obligations. Applies the most current analytical and behavioral analysis techniques to data collected from multiple sources of information and initiates response actions supporting daily operations within the federally mandated contractually required Insider Threat Program. Elicits information from internal and external Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders and collaborates with them in the construction of newly designed collection methods in both the technical and behavioral analytics research areas. Recommends newly discovered strategies assisting in maturing program objectives and continues efforts to implement state of the art methodologies to prevent potential insider threat behavior or incidents to Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT) resources. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Georgia Tech faculty, staff, and leadership, and industry peers and will typically advise and counsel GTRI faculty, staff, and leadership. Job Duty 1 -
Conduct technical and behavioral data collection, applying established methodologies and analytical techniques.

Job Duty 2 -
Perform analysis and validation of indicators from multiple data sources, determining when issues require review or escalation.

Job Duty 3 -
Produce analytical reports, presentations, and program documentation as the primary author.

Job Duty 4 -
Integrate security disciplines to recommend and develop program requirements, specifications, design, documentation, and procedures that satisfy the program security policy and planning action plan.

Job Duty 5 -
Conduct ongoing threat cycle reviews to assess shifting or emerging threats and identify associated insider threat indicators.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform risk assessments, including risks to personnel, facilities, data, information, networks and servers; troubleshoot technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and identify failure impact.

Job Duty 7 -
Develop and implement insider threat processes, enabling technologies, workflow procedures, and training materials, including technical support documents, summaries, reports, and presentations.

Job Duty 8 -
Provide tailored intelligence, insider threat analysis, and targeted awareness training to stakeholders.

Job Duty 9 -
At senior level, may provide mentoring and non-supervisory work direction for team members.

Job Duty 10 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements
Associate degree in related discipline or equivalent, related experience.

Required Experience
2+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent, related experience.

• 2 years experience specific to insider threat analysis, counterintelligence, security operations, risk management or a related field.
• Preferred Certification(s) include: CDSE Insider threat Awareness Courses INT 101.16, INT 122.16, INT 210.16, and INT 260.16
