Primary Responsibilities:

  • Solder various electronic components, wires and other electronic parts to designated locations on printed circuit boards to IPC regulations.
  • Assemble microcircuits requiring fine hand assembly with the use of microscopes.
  • Incorporation of engineering change to new and existing products at board level.
  • Record activity into a database.
  • Review ERP for proper configuration control specifications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 is required.
  • Ability to pass and obtain an IPC-610 certification is required.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal customers.
  • Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization.

Requirements Include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
  • 2+ years soldering experience preferred
  • 2+ years related defense manufacturing experience preferred
  • IPC-610 certification preferred
