The Associate Quality Assurance Engineer provides support for the Quality Engineering staff as well as the quality assurance department as a whole. This individual will also support the business system improvement activities as required by the Quality Management System (QMS).

Position Responsibilities:
* Perform product release review of product and documentation to assure compliance to documented Contractual Requirements, Technical Data Package (TDP), and Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
* Create required Certificate of Conformance and other customer required forms and data packets.
* Execute assigned tasks for First Article Inspection in AS9102 format.
* Support data collection and report creation for Contract Data Requirements Listing (CDRL) or Subcontract Data Requirements Listing (SDRL) documentation as directed by QAEs.
* Coordinate with the Government and Customer Inspection personnel for all matters of Quality Assurance of product and delivery/shipping.
* Conduct Material Review Board (MRB) and document disposition as assigned to support QAE.
* Support Quality Assurance Engineering (QAE) functions as tasked by Quality Assurance Management.
* Attend project meetings (internal/external) as assigned.
* Manage Return Material Authorization (RMA) process for items as assigned
* Perform tasks required to act as corporate Subject Matter Expert (SME). Possible areas: MRB, Shipping, GIDEP, CMM, or IFS software.
* Performs process compliance audits of manufacturing processes including product (cables, circuit card assemblies, subassemblies and complex systems, etc.) and processes (SOPs, industry and military standards, etc).
* Performs other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.

* Good communication skills and organizational abilities.
* Good customer service skills and focus required.
* Ability to take initiative, to meet deadlines, and to work independent and in a team environment.
* Ability to complete a wide range of tasks of moderate complexity using good technical judgement and critical thinking.
* Knowledge of statistics, probability, algebra or scientific notation.

Qualifications:
* One of the following:
o Associates Degree in technical field, or
o 5+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience.
* Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
* Ability to pass vision acuity exam per J-STD-001.

Work Environment:
* Office Environment: Requires physical capability to work in an office environment including sit/stand up to 9 hours a day, lifting 40 lbs, and use basic office tools such as a computer, copier/printer, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
* Hours: 1st Shift; with additional hours as needed to meet demand. Occasional off-shift hours may also be required to provide support to operations.
* 9/80 work schedule.
* Occasional travel may be required.
* Office located in Lititz or Lancaster, PA facility with periodic visit to other facility.
