Join us and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our offerings, driving innovation, and championing the user experience as you lead, manage, and deliver impactful service design initiatives.

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Design Producer to join our fast-paced team, tackling complex design challenges and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners across Product Management, Engineering, and Business. In this role, you will be instrumental in clarifying project requirements, defining design strategy and goals, and facilitating design reviews to ensure the highest quality outcomes. Your work will directly influence the successful launch of new features, ensuring design integrity from concept to implementation. This is an exciting opportunity to connect dots across diverse work streams, anticipate needs, and free up your team to focus on crafting the 'what' by expertly handling the 'how'.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive tight alignment of activities across teams through proactive cross-functional planning and clear communication.
  • Organize and lead design brainstorms and workshops, coordinating and facilitating productive meetings and design discussions.
  • Capture key ideas, decisions, issues, and action items in succinct and clear meeting notes.
  • Track and report project health on a weekly basis, providing status updates and communicating impending or projected results.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and formulate strategic plans to unblock the team and keep projects moving forward.
  • Negotiate priorities for the design team, effectively managing limited resources against aggressive schedules.
  • Manage cross-functional relationships and partnerships, serving as a key representative for the design team.
  • Ensure the timely handoff of design specifications to engineering partners.
  • Review builds to confirm that design integrity has been maintained throughout the implementation process.
  • Continuously improve processes and communications within an ever-changing, fast-paced working environment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and deliver complex service design initiatives.
  • Proven experience supporting multiple concurrent projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong systems and strategic thinking capabilities, with a creative approach to operational challenges.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to develop and present design ideas effectively in large team environments.
  • A self-starter, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • A natural ability to connect work streams, anticipate decision-making processes, and foster collaborative relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, thriving in dynamic, ambiguous, and deadline-driven environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities with limited oversight.
  • A strong appreciation for the practice and process of design, understanding the multiple disciplines involved in successful product development.
