Essential Functions

Perform cleaning and disinfection duties in accordance with established schedules, infection prevention standards, and departmental procedures.
Collect, transport, and dispose of waste streams according to regulatory and organizational guidelines.
Clean and service assigned patient care and non-patient care areas to maintain a safe, sanitary, and orderly environment.
Move furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the medical center as needed to support operational needs.
Operate and maintain environmental services equipment, including floor machines and buffers.
Maintain patient rooms, common areas, offices, and clinical spaces in a clean and presentable condition.
Follow all safety, infection control, and environmental services policies and procedures.
Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
Participate in a minimum of eight departmental or unit meetings annually.
Provide courteous and professional service to patients, visitors, and staff while supporting a positive healthcare environment.
