General Summary of Position: The Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Success is responsible for all areas of student-athlete excellence. This position reports directly to the Sr. Associate AD, with an indirect reporting relationship to the Senior Vice Provost of Academic Affairs to ensure academic integrity. Essential Job Duties: 1. Implements academic oversight and structure to ensure successful Academic Performance Rate (APR), retention and graduation rates of student-athletes. 2. Oversees the academic eligibility and progress towards degree requirements of all student-athletes. 3. In conjunction with the Compliance office, oversees execution of contractual requirements of Name, Image & Likeness (NIL). 4. Provides academic support for assigned teams. 5. Liaison with undergraduate admissions to assist coaches in evaluating prospects for initial and transfer NCAA academic eligibility. 6. Serves as the Athletics Department liaison to Academic Affairs, with an indirect reporting line to the Senior Vice Provost of Academic Affairs. Will interface with other academic individuals and offices including the following: faculty, the Registrar's Office, Admissions, the Faculty Athletic Representative, Centers for Learning, Disability Services, and the Athletics Department. 7. Special Instructions to Applicants: This is a Non-Unit, Professional position. This position is full-time, benefited and non-union in grade P18. Anticipated salary based on qualifications and the range of: minimum $72,170, 25th quartile: $82,093 and midpoint of $92,017.
