THE OPPORTUNITY

Iron Bow Technologies is currently looking for anAssistant Software Asset Manager to support Prince William County (PWC) Department of Information Technology (DoIT) centers. In this role you will be reporting to the current Software Asset Manager and would be responsible for Software Inventory Management, Vendor Management, User Access Management, Compliance, Auditing and process improvement.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT



  • Maintain software inventory records asset databases
  • Process software requests and user access
  • Ensure compliance with policy, software purchasing, and lifecycle of the software
  • Track software licenses and renewals
  • Perform audits on software to ensure compliance, improve security, and improve usage
  • Coordinate with software vendors on orders and maintenance.
  • Access portals and SSO groups to manage users for each software
  • Look for ways to automate and improve processes
  • Other duties assigned


SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS



  • High School Diploma and 2-5 years' experience in Software Asset Management
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow
  • MS Excel Formula Function & Pivot Table Reporting,
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Software Asset Management field.
  • Accountable, on-time, and able to work independently
  • Clean record to pass PWC Commercial and Police background check

  • Experience in IT within State, local or Federal government
  • Associates degree in IT Technology
  • Live within Prince William County


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Position is hybrid with requirements to be onsite and remote each week. On-site work will be performed at Prince William County Government, 3 County Complex Court, Woodbridge, Virginia 22192.

Compensation and Benefit Information:

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.

Iron Bow Technologies reserves the right to fill this role at a different level, depending on qualifications and organizational priorities. This range represents only one component of Iron Bow's total compensation package. An overview of our benefits is available on our careers page.
