As a Armed Security Officer - Utility Headquarters in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. This armed role requires Level III Armed Certification.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a utility location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted utility infrastructure areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian activity entering and leaving the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access-related activity, and other security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
