Medical Support Assistant

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for Medical Support Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Veterans Affairs Sierra Nevada Healthcare System, in Las Vegas, NV.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week.

Duties:

• *

  Scheduling appointments accurately from provider orders and consults, while reviewing and communicating patient prep instructions.

  *

  Managing high-volume inbound and outbound calls and providing exceptional customer service to Veterans and healthcare staff.

  *

  Documenting patient information, creating notes, processing consults, and maintaining sensitive information within electronic medical records (EMR).

  *

  Performing front desk and patient check-in/check-out functions efficiently to improve patient flow and reduce wait times.

  *

  Supporting radiology administration functions, including CD processing, virtual file room activities, provider communications, and general administrative support.
