The Project Manager, Transformation Office acts as a critical driver for enterprise transformation projects, managing timelines, cross-functional teams, and budgets to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives across Jazz Pharmaceuticals.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Timeline & Schedule Management:

  • Applies project management expertise and business transformation knowledge to gather functional inputs.

  • Creates and maintains integrated project schedules and roadmaps for delivery.

Project Execution & Accountability:

  • Drives project execution by focusing on critical path activities.

  • Holds matrix team members accountable for tasks, resolving outstanding issues and action items.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

  • Partners with Finance to manage annual budgets ($ and FTEs), control costs, and ensure reforecasting aligns with operational plans.

Project Alignment:

  • Supports Transformation Leads to align project plans across the project's Matrix Team to ensure overarching strategic goals are met.

Information Sharing & Tools:

  • Manages the project team space (e.g., Project SharePoint sites, MS Teams) to keep broader teams informed.

  • Maintains project planning data and implements ongoing improvements to PM tools and infrastructure.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in project management in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required.

  • PM Methodologies: Fully trained in project management processes with the competency to employ essential project management tools to manage risk and facilitate execution.

  • Influence & Communication: Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to influence without authority, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and keep diverse stakeholders aligned.

  • Independence: Proven ability to independently manage all stages of a strategic program or project

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses

  • Education: Requires a BS/BA in a relevant field.

  • Certification: A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered a strong plus.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.

At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
