Tennis Shop Attendant

Position Summary

The Tennis Shop Attendant is the first point of contact for members and guests visiting the Mouratoglou Tennis Center and Fitness Center at Horseshoe Bay Resort. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, managing reservations and retail transactions, maintaining facility appearance, and ensuring all guests enjoy a welcoming and professional experience.

Essential Responsibilities



  • Greet and assist members, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls and schedule tennis court reservations, lessons, and other services.
  • Process retail sales and other transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Utilize club management systems, including Golf Pro and V1, to check in guests and manage schedules.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the Tennis Center and Fitness Center.
  • Merchandise and replenish retail inventory, ensuring displays remain stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when appropriate.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
  • Support daily operations and special events as assigned.


Qualifications

Education



  • High School Diploma or GED required.


Experience



  • Previous retail, hospitality, fitness, or recreation experience preferred.
  • Experience working with POS systems and customer-facing environments is a plus.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements



  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Experience
Proven ability to manage reservations, answer guest inquiries, maintain merchandise displays, and support daily operational needs (required)
Experience handling cash, credit card transactions, and point-of-sale (POS) systems in a fast-paced customer-facing environment. (required)
1 years: Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, hospitality, fitness, country club, or resort operations with a strong focus on guest service. (required)
