Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Associate (FGP) - Manhattan, Ambulatory Operations/Transitions.

In this role, the successful candidate The FGP Project Associate will support the FGP Transition Team in a variety of operational, transition, and practice optimization initiatives across the FGP Ambulatory Network. This role focuses on coordinating day-to-day project activities, maintaining documentation, supporting communications, and assisting with the successful implementation of operational initiatives across FGP regions and locations. The Project Associate will work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to help ensure projects remain organized and on track.

Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support patient communication initiatives by drafting and editing patient letters, maintaining distribution lists, and coordinating with departmental managers and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate communications are distributed electronically and in print.

  • Maintain and manage content related to provider onboarding and offboarding, credentialing, malpractice accrual, and marketing activities.

  • Prepare and distribute weekly malpractice-related communications, maintain organized records, and assist with follow-up activities.

  • Maintain and distribute monthly new provider marketing lists, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

  • Submit and track demographic updates for practices and providers to help ensure information remains current across operational systems and directories.

  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones to support successful project completion.

  • Coordinate and participate in meetings, workgroups, and follow-up activities with the FGP Transition Team, FGP Operations, and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain project documentation, trackers, timelines, and related materials, updating information as needed to reflect project progress and changing priorities.

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders within and outside the department, building and promoting position working relationships.

  • Provide support to the FGP Transition Team on various initiatives related to provider onboarding, transitions, ongoing practice operations and optimization projects.

  • Assist with purchasing related activities pertaining to new sites, practice transitions, and practice moves.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Associate's Degree is required. Minimum of 1 Year of related experience in an office setting or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Effective Oral, written communication and interpersonal skills. Computer Skills - Working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power point and Access. Ability to develop basic formulae for spreadsheets; set up routine computer procedures; Ability to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software. Ability to proofread documents and write clear, concise 1st draft. Ability to type at a speed of at least 45 net words per minutes.Knowledge of standard office practices. Ability to multi-task while paying attention to details. Ability to use standard office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line telephones, fax machines.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Sciences degree is preferred.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $43,656.26 - $60,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
