Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Pediatrics Rehab team. This role will be PRN/as needed requiring at least 16 hrs/month (including 1 weekend day), 1 holiday and 1 support day Inova L.J. Physical Therapist PRN Job Responsibilities:
- The Physical Therapist PRN selects evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.
- Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
- Perform re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
- Licensure: Virginia Physical Therapist License or Physical Therapist compact privileges required upon start
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
- 1 year of Physical Therapist (PT) pediatrics experience in the hospital setting
