Salary: $22.00/hour to $26.00/hour, dependent upon experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:30 am to 7:00 pm CST

Location: Remote

If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you!

  • Verify insurance eligibility through payer websites, portals and direct payer calls.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of insurance verification experience preferred.
  • Excellent attention do detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in hospice or physician office benefit verifications.
  • Demonstrate commitment to hospice & palliative philosophy of care.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work closely with a variety of people while effectively using problem solving skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret plan benefits for hospice and palliative care patients (e.g., Medicare, MA, Medicaid, commercial).
  • Assist on reverifications throughout the month, ensuring our members are still active
  • Work with the claims team on denials, corrections, and adjustments and reduction of bad debt due to policy limitation
