Job Summary

The SAP IBP Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions, with a primary focus on Supply & Response and Inventory modules. This role partners with business and IT teams to analyze requirements, configure solutions, support system enhancements, and improve supply chain planning processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP IBP experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on functional and technical role and is best suited for an experienced SAP IBP Analyst rather than a solutions architect.

Job Responsibilities



  • Support the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of SAP IBP Supply & Response and Inventory modules.
  • Configure and maintain SAP IBP, SAP CPI-DS, SDI, and RTI solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional system solutions.
  • Support the full software development lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve supply chain planning processes and system functionality.
  • Document business processes, system configurations, and development milestones.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and implement configuration enhancements as needed.
  • Ensure solutions align with established IT standards and long-term technology strategies.
  • Participate in Agile development activities, including planning, testing, and sprint execution.
  • Stay current on SAP IBP best practices and recommend process improvements.
  • Support system integrations with SAP ERP and related planning applications.
  • Work collaboratively with geographically dispersed teams and business partners.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience supporting SAP IBP solutions.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of SAP ERP experience.
  • Experience configuring and supporting SAP IBP Supply & Response and Inventory modules.
  • Experience with SAP CPI-DS, SDI, and RTI.
  • Experience supporting inventory optimization solutions.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP BW or similar platforms is preferred.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or another STEM-related field, or equivalent professional experience.


Work Experience



  • Minimum of 5 years of SAP IBP implementation, configuration, or support experience required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of SAP ERP experience required.
  • Experience supporting supply chain planning and inventory optimization solutions required.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments preferred.
