About the opportunity

In this role, you play a key part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You work handson in the laboratory, performing assays that directly impact the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of QIAGEN's diagnostic and life science solutions. You thrive in a fastpaced environment where precision, learning, and continuous improvement are part of your everyday work.

Your tasks include
  • Perform assays independently and evaluate results to support product qualification.

  • Follow established quality control work instructions and maintain an excellent compliance mindset.

  • Document all work in a complete, accurate, and contemporaneous manner.

  • Manage reagents, materials, and inventory needed for QC testing.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen QC processes.

  • Work safely and comfortably with radioactivity as part of routine testing.

  • Contribute to developing, revising, and reviewing SOPs as well as qualification or validation protocols and reports.

Your profile
  • Bring up to 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.

  • Show strong interest and ability to grow your molecular biology skill set, including handling complex assay testing.

  • Understand the fundamentals of quality control and are eager to work toward ISOcompliant processes.

  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot assays and suggest improvements.

  • Navigate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related systems with confidence.

  • Communicate effectively, collaborate positively, and manage your workload independently in a dynamic environment.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a bonus plan and generous benefits.
