We are looking for an outstanding communicator, detail-oriented organizer who loves customer service to drive the business by creating illustrations for in-force policies covering a wide range of life insurance products, companies, and administrative systems. Provide information to customers via written correspondence, telephone conversations, and personal contact, including advice on what illustrations to order, and how in-force contracts can be altered to achieve stated goals. Work independently with minimal assistance.
This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE or Cincinnati, OH) and partially from home. What you do: * Accurately create in-force illustrations in response to a wide range of requests for multiple products maintained on a variety of administrative systems. Be familiar with other service functions outside of in-force illustrations. * Communicate with agents, clients, and Home Office staff via written correspondence, telephone conversations, and personal contact. Communication topics may include explanations of illustrations provided, status updates, advice on what illustrations to order, and how in-force contracts can be altered to achieve stated goals. When communicating, handle difficult situations by using negotiating skills to resolve conflict. * Consistently exceed customer expectations by displaying courtesy and sensitivity. Display a commitment to excellence to our clients, field force, and home office staff by responding to requests in a timely manner and keeping commitments. * Maintain an understanding of various insurance products, their contract features and limitations, and the extent to which the products can be adjusted while in-force, along with any potential tax consequences of these adjustments. * Maintain an understanding of policy-related correspondence and statements (e.g., policies/contracts, confirmations, quarterly and annual statements, letters, forms, etc.) * Stay abreast of departmental, company, industry and regulatory changes that affect the position. * Promote company core values and support company standards. * Employee has the duty to comply with all applicable insurance laws and regulations and with approved company policies, practices and procedures related to ethical market conduct activities. Employee further has the responsibility to immediately report known or suspected violations of laws, regulations and company policies, practices and procedures to the company's compliance officer. What you bring: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience required. * 1-3 years of related experience required. * Life insurance or financial services industry experience highly desired. * Must obtain SIE and Series 99 or Series 6 license within 12 months of employment, if not already held. * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized is required.
