Summary:

The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information, and they typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Submit budget requests (Plan Proposals) for Marketing programs and ensure adherence to budget policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Managing the payment schedule, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and maintaining communication regarding payment status.
• Verify purchase orders against invoices to ensure goods and services are received and paid for correctly.
• Reconciling accounts payable ledgers, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assisting in month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Review POP (proof of performance), BOL, Contracts, Term Sheets (MDF and SD) for payment.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.
• Gather and analyze large sets of data from multiple sources and prepare both quantitative and qualitative analyses of information.
• Manage the vendor invoices, ensuring their accuracy and timely payment processing.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records to foster strong business partnerships with Sales Finance, Channel Marketing, Procurement, and AP teams to promote teamwork and organizational alignment, including sharing best practices across divisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field and a minimum of 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or occupation.
• Experience in managing A/R, A/P, and the financial closing process.
• Demonstrated ability to identify areas of process improvement and manage improvement projects until completion.
• Experience in business process review and analysis, including financial and operational analysis and audits.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning model development (Pandas).
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL).
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including automation using VBA.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, SAP, or call management tools.
