Your Role The Stellarus Chief Information Officer is responsible for overseeing corporate technology strategy, engineering, and operations that support the partnership with Blue Shield of California. The organization drives operational excellence, strategic alignment, and the successful delivery of technology solutions that enable business growth, improve operational efficiency, and ensure secure, scalable, reliable, and high-performing technology services. The Sr. Director, Technology, Infrastructure & Stabilization will report directly to the Chief Information Officer. In this role, you will provide senior leadership across engineering delivery, platform operations, and technology services aligned to the organization's highest-priority business objectives. You will lead engineering managers and technology leaders responsible for solution delivery, production operations, platform reliability, service performance, and continuous improvement, ensuring technology solutions are delivered with speed, quality, security, and operational excellence. This role requires strong engineering and operational leadership, with the ability to guide architecture, delivery execution, production stability, and complex issue resolution while driving modernization and operational maturity. You will partner closely with Product, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and business leaders to improve execution, strengthen reliability, manage risk, and deliver measurable business outcomes through technology. Hybrid This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week. Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need. | |
