Academic Program Coordinator - College of Veterinary Medicine Vet Medicine Administration Job SummaryCoordinate veterinary student academic course programs and serve as an expert resource to provide high level management support for the Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs in the College of Veterinary Medicine, including student advising and curricular support. Represent the office and its mission and values throughout the college and university in matters of veterinary student policies and regulations as program administration. This position involves close interaction with professional program students, faculty, staff, and campus contacts. Please briefly summarize the position. Curriculum Development and Support Student Advisement Events & Student Employment Management Communication, Committee, and Reporting Other duties as assigned Physical Demands and Working ConditionsNormal office setting. Persons allergic to animal dander, dust, pollen, hay, etc. may experience discomfort in this position. Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor's Degree. 2. Two years in education, training and/or work experience in Student Academic Programming in a University setting. 3. Demonstrated experience with policy interpretation. Experience with supervising student. (Note: Master's Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.) Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in science, education, communication, or related fields and Experience working within an office of student affairs and/or a college setting. Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 5002 - Program Coordinator position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible. The budgeted salary range for the position is $65,000 to $75,000. Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, collective bargaining agreements, and budget constraints.
