About the Role


We are seeking a Lead Program Manager, whom we call our Senior Program Manager, to support field leadership as they manage multiple in-school enrichment and childcare programs. Through your support of an Area Manager, you will directly impact the operations, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability of that leader's programs.




Part-Time Senior Program Manager: $18.70-$23 per hour (based on education, experience)


Start Date: Immediate


Split Shift Schedule: Six hour split shift- May vary slightly: 9:00 am- 11:00 am and return 2:30 pm-6:30 pm (must be available Monday through Friday). Must be able to work occasional early release and non school days if needed.


After-School locations- Floating as needed to different program sites nside the Alamo Heights, Medina Valley and Floresville area school programs.



Required:



  • Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
  • One year of supervisor/management experience
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program.

Job Responsibilities


In support of, coordination with, and at the direction of the Area Manager, you may support in multiple facets of the business including, but not limited to, the following:



  • Provide coaching, guidance, and in the moment feedback to Right At School program team members.
  • Audit, coach, and train staff to ensure compliance with all relevant Right At School, licensing, and district-specific processes, policies, and expectations.
  • Support the Area Manager's established plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of children during the Right At School program.
  • When applicable, develop strong relationships with school administration, parents, and/or PTA organizations to ensure successful delivery of all Right At School programs and ensure customer satisfaction with the program.
  • Coordinate educational electives programs for assigned area as applicable.
  • Review and analyze electronic data such as enrollment information, timekeeping records, and file maintenance; taking prescribed actions based on the data found.
  • Meets and reports regularly to the Area Manager regarding program, site and staff performance.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Administer light first aid when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience working with school-age children in a recreational program or child care center/education setting.
  • One year of supervisor/management experience
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare type program.
  • Assertive and confident, with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to:

    • Make independent decisions on issues that do not require oversight.
    • Prioritize critical tasks ahead of routine ones, as well as prioritize schedule demands with an appreciation and recognition of key, critical issues.
    • Multitask and meet deadlines and adapt smoothly to rapidly shifting work priorities and schedules.
    • Travel up to 100% of the workday throughout assigned programs, spending up to 100% of the workday performing program duties in ratio.
    • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 pounds for 25% or less of the workday.
    • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for 25% or less of the workday.
    • Stand, sit, walk, or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
    • Talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, learn, and reason for 100% of the workday.


  • High School diploma/GED required. Bachelors or Associates degree preferred.
  • Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • First Aid and CPR certification required.
