Auria is seeking an experienced, driven, and self-motivated Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP II/III) to provide strategic and operational HR support to assigned Business Unit(s). The HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, partnering with management to support organizational objectives and foster a positive employee experience.
This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, performance management, talent development, compliance, benefits administration, and HR systems management. The HRBP collaborates closely with business leaders, the Director of Human Resources, and the broader HR team to implement HR programs and initiatives that align with business goals.
The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and HRIS platforms, with demonstrated experience managing employee data, generating business intelligence reports, and leveraging HR metrics to support decision-making. Experience with Jamis HCM, Paycor ATS, and data reporting tools is highly preferred
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Serve as a strategic HR advisor to managers and Business Unit General Managers (BU GMs) on employee and organizational matters.
- Partner with the Director of Human Resources, HR Business Partners, HR Coordinators, and Recruiting to support business unit objectives, hiring, and daily HR operations.
- Act as the primary HR resource for employees and managers by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, employment law, and best practices.
- Lead employee relations investigations and advise leaders on performance management, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and employee development while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Coordinate and support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and offboarding.
- Serve as the primary HRIS administrator for Jamis HCM, ensuring data integrity, system accuracy, workflow efficiency, and compliance with HR data governance standards.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HRIS processes, employee records, organizational structures, workflows, security roles, and system updates as appropriate.
- Identify and implement process improvements through HR technology, automation, and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
- Initiate and manage offer letters and hiring workflows through the Paycor Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Administer employee benefits programs and support annual open enrollment activities.
- Develop, maintain, and automate HR dashboards and reports using HRIS and Business Intelligence tools.
- Partner with Payroll to resolve employee data, status changes, payroll discrepancies, and other HRIS-related issues while ensuring data accuracy.
- Support employee engagement, retention, recognition, and other HR programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Advanced HRIS administration experience, including data management, troubleshooting, workflow optimization, and system maintenance.
- Experience leveraging HR technology to improve processes, automate workflows, and increase efficiency.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards, using reporting platforms such as Oracle BI.
- Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Jamis HCM, and Applicant Tracking Systems such as Paycor.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or business (with HR emphasis) or an equivalent combination of education and related experience required
- 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a government, defense contractor, or corporate environment.
- Demonstrated experience administering HRIS platforms (Jamis HCM strongly preferred), including employee data management, workflow processing, reporting, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
- Experience within a government contractor, defense contractor, or highly regulated corporate environment strongly preferred.
- Professional HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
- U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract regulations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD secret security clearance.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $75,088 - $121,500.
