Medical Assistant Internal MedicineMount Kisco, New York Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 About the RoleOptum NY is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its Internal Medicine team in Mount Kisco, NY. In this patient-focused role, you will support physicians and clinical staff by delivering direct patient care, assisting with procedures, and helping ensure a coordinated and positive healthcare experience. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative clinical environment with access to strong development and advancement resources. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and assist physicians with clinical procedures. Escort patients to exam rooms and support efficient patient flow. Obtain vital signs, conduct vision screenings, and perform authorized clinical tests. Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and office-based diagnostic procedures. Prepare electronic prescriptions for provider review and processing. Process laboratory specimens and maintain clinical instruments and equipment according to established guidelines. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of relevant entry-level work experience. Preferred Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with 1+ years of recent Medical Assistant experience. Current CPR/BLS certification.
