Join Our Team as a 4th Shift Foundry Operator

We are seeking a dependable and motivated 4th Shift Foundry Operator (Furnace Helper) to join our team in Mentor, OH. This role is essential to supporting vacuum casting operations and maintaining high production and quality standards in a fast-paced foundry environment.

This position provides an opportunity to develop into a Vacuum Casting Technician, with hands-on training in advanced casting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train to perform the duties of a Vacuum Casting Technician
  • Operate vacuum furnaces including equiax, directional solidification (D.S.), and single crystal furnaces
  • Accurately record all required process and production information
  • Ram crucibles and perform furnace setup and changeovers, including D.S. susceptors, coils, and melt coils
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), engineering procedures, and special lot instructions
  • Meet established production efficiency standards
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards within the foundry department
  • Ensure all documentation is properly completed and maintained
  • Develop a thorough understanding of production processes and materials
  • Organize work to maintain smooth and efficient operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications

Experience:

  • Previous manufacturing or foundry experience preferred
  • Experience with industrial equipment or high-temperature processes is a plus

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (experience may substitute)
